On September 29, 2019, on the Fest of the Holy Cross of Varag, the 26th anniversary of the Holy Cross Armenian Church of Laval, His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate, assisted by Rev. Fr. Komitas Mirzakhanyan, Parish Priest, celebrated Divine Liturgy and consecrated baptismal font of the church.
The baptismal font has been donated to the church by Mr. and Mrs. Arden and Christine Dervishian, and Mrs. Rita Dervishian, in memory of their late parents, national benefactors Mr. and Mrs. Jirayr and Elise Dervishian.
