On January 6, 2019, His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate, assisted by Rev. Fr. David Margaryan, Parish Priest of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Cathedral of Montreal, celebrated Christmas and Theophany Liturgy at the Diocesan Cathedral, and with participation of Rev. Fr. Drtad Tashjian. During the Liturgy, His Grace Blessed water which later was distributed among the faithful of the Mother Church.
Mr. Krikor Dikranian, one of the pillars of the Cathedral parish, has been blessed with being the God Father of this year’s Water Blessing Ceremony.
After the Liturgy, parishioners gathered at the Marie Manoogian Hall to enjoy Christmas meals offered by the Parish Council.
