Celebration of the Feast of Saint Sarkis – the Patron of Youth and Love at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Cathedral of Montreal

On February 16, 2019, the newly established “Kamar” Youth Association of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Cathedral of Montreal organized the celebration of the Feast of Saint Sarkis – the Patron of Youth and Love at the Diocesan Cathedral. His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate, blessed the celebration, which was initiated by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. David Margaryan, and was held under the auspices of the Parish Council.

In the beginning, the youth blessing rite was held at the Cathedral, presided over by Bishop Hovakimyan.

This was followed by a youth party at the Marie Manoogian Hall with participation of around 240 persons, opened by Rev. Fr. David Margaryan with prayer.
