The Diocesan Assembly is the supreme permanent legislative body of the Diocese under the presidency of the Primate.
It exercises supervision and control over all ecclesiastical administrative entities within the jurisdiction of the Diocese.
The Diocesan Assembly consists of elected lay delegates, Parish Council Chairpersons and all the Clergymen of the Diocese. Each parish is entitled to have lay delegates – elected for a three years term – in proportion to the number of its members.
The Diocesan Assembly meets annually during the last weekend of May unless otherwise determined by the previous Diocesan Assembly.
