On November 30, 2019, His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate, attended a concert dedicated to the 150th Anniversary of Komitas Vardapet, at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Cathedral of Montreal.
Sarkis Barsemian (tenor), Sasha Djihanian (soprano), and Michel-Alexandre Broekaert (piano) virtuously performed masterpieces of Komitas Vardapet and classical composers’ repertoire.
