On Tuesday, July 22, 2014 Very Rev. Fr. Abgar Hovakimian, Primate received the Executive Members of Tekeyan Cultural Association (TCA) and the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (ADLP-Ramgavar) at the Diocesan headquarters. The President of TCA thanked the Primate for receiving them and wished him a warm welcome and a successful beginning to his mission in Canada. He also expressed the TCA’s as well as the ADLP’s unconditional support to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the Armenian Church Diocese of Canada. In his turn, Primate Hovakimian thanked the members of TCA and ADLP for their kind words and well wishes. During the meeting, the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was discussed with new ideas to make the impact even stronger. Յովակիմեան Առաջնորդարանէն ներս ընդունեց Մոնթրէալի Թէքէեան Մշակութային Միութեան (ԹՄՄ) եւ Ռամկավար Ազատական Կուսակցութեան (ՌԱԿ) Վարչութեանց անդամները: Թէքէեան Մշակութային Միութեան Ատենապետը շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց նորընտիր Առաջնորդ Հայր Սուրբին եւ բարեյաջող սկիզբ մաղթեց Առաջնորդական առաքելութեանը: Ան նաեւ զոյգ կազմակերպութիւններու անունով անսակարկ զօրակցութիւն յայտնեց Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնին եւ Գանատահայոց Առաջնորդարանին: Իր կարգին, Հայր Սուրբը շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց բոլորին, բարի մաղթանքներուն համար: Հանդիպումի ընթացքին խօսուեցաւ Հայկական Ցեղասպանութեան Հարիւրամեակի Գանատայի Մարմնի աշխատանքներուն մասին, եւ Հայր Սուրբի նոր գաղափարներով առաւել ազդու նշելու գալիք 100-ամեակը: Առաջնորդ Հայր Սուրբը նաեւ կարեւորեց մեր համայնքի կազմակերպութիւններուն միջև համագործակցութիւնը:
