On February 18, 2015, His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimian, Primate of the Armenian Apostolic Church Canadian Diocese, on behalf of the clergy and the faithful conveyed condolences to His Grace Bishop Anba Mina, Primate of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Canada over brutal murder of the twenty-one Coptic Christians by terrorists on February 14, 2015.
In his letter, Bishop Abgar mentioned that the whole international community has to raise their voices in unity for justice, peace and reconciliation, in order to prevent further violence in the Middle East, where representatives of various faiths have lived in harmony for millennia.
His Grace highlighted the role of the religious leaders in such difficult times, mentioning that they have to make more efforts to pave the way for Our Lord’s supreme will to yield on Earth as it is on Heaven.
