On December 3, 2017, the Diocesan Children’s Fund for Armenia (CFFA) organized Children’s Christmas Blessing and New Year Celebration Party – an annual event under the patronage of the Diocesan Primate, His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, proceeds from which are directed at humanitarian activities supported by the CFFA in Armenia.
Children and parents gathered at Marie Manoogian Hall of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Cathedral of Montreal to play, to dance, to sing, and of course, to welcome and to receive gifts from Kaghand Pap (Santa Claus). This year’s special guest was Taline Ladayan from “Birthdays With Smiles”, who entertained the kids and made this event an unforgettable experience for them and their parents.
Upon the Primate’s initiative, and with collaboration with Hay Doun, kids from Syrian Armenian families recently arrived to Canada, were invited to participate in the event.
