Blessing of newly engaged and married couples at Montreal Armenian Cathedral

On Sunday February 12, 2012 the feast of St Sarkis the Warrior and his companions was marked at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Cathedral of Montreal. Rev. Fr. Vazgen Boyajyan, pastor celebrated the Holy Divine Liturgy.
By the invitation of Reverend Father Vazgen, Pastor around 20 newly engaged or married couples attended the Divine Liturgy and received the blessing of the Primate on this auspicious day. Father Vazgen prayed the Almighty God to grant the young couples celestial blessings so that they can establish their families on the values love and peace.

Following the Holy Badarak a special reception was held at Vatche Hovsepian Hall of the Cathedral.
