Last Sunday, on the second week of March, two CYMA representatives made a trip to Ottawa from Montreal. The goal was to speak to members of St. Mesrob Armenian church about the Canadian Youth Mission to Armenia. Following the Divine Liturgy, Hrayr Tanilian and Shant Katcherian, two volunteers from the 2012 mission in Geghadir Village, made a slide projection presentation.
All present were treated to a very informative and truly heartwarming personal report of their trip and project in Armenia, last year. These young men, recounted their travel to Armenia, how they made new friends with fellow participants, established ties with the families they met in Armenia, drank the water and touched the soil. With their pictures and heartfelt stories they were able to convey their boundless enthusiasm, endless thirst for Armenia to the faithful, who were honored to be present for this outstanding informative gathering, leaving all with images of our beloved Ararat.
Armenia and the CYMA project are fortunate to have two such admirable representatives.
