St. Mesrob Armenian Church of Ottawa celebrated the Feast of the Ascension, Hampartzman Don, on Sunday May 12, 2013 which also coincided with Mother’s Day.It was a very special day indeed since His Eminence Bishop Bagrat Galstanian graced us with his presence and blessed all Mothers, Grandmothers, Sisters, Aunts and Caregivers who were there, and each one of them was presented with a beautiful rose. His Excellency Mr. Armen Yeganian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia was also in attendance at the Sourp Badarak.
A very pleasant reception was held following the Divine Liturgy in the Church Hall where all Parishioners greeted and congratulated one another on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
