On Tuesday, May 14, 2013, provincial elections were held in British Columbia. The Liberal party of BC was led to election victory by incumbent Christy Clark. On February 13, 2013 while on his pastoral visit in Vancouver, His Eminence Bagrat Galstanian had met Premier Clark at the Legislative Assembly.
On May 15, His Eminence Bishop Bagrat Galstanian sent a congratulatory letter to Christy Clark upon her re-election as Premier of British Columbia.
“Our heartfelt congratulations to you and to the BC Liberal Party, for winning the provincial elections. Your splendid majority win, must be a great satisfaction for you and your team, as this new mandate is a testament of the citizens of British Columbia’s trust and confidence in you and your party.
We wish you a successful tenure as Premier, and look forward to the opportunity to dialogue on future prospects regarding mutual shared interests and concerns, as discussed in our meeting earlier this year.
