On Thursday, May 15, 2014 Rev. Father Vazgen Boyajyan, Pastor of St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral of Montreal and Leader of CYMA 2014 Youth mission to Armenia visited the Rotary Club of Montreal and made an extensive presentation on the CYMA 2014 mission. This year CYMA participants will renovate the playground of “Mary Izmirlian” orphanage. The program includes the Children’s workshop, Hay-Ess program, Excursions and the Christian outreach program.
Following the presentation of Father Vazgen, and in recognition of CYMA’s humanitarian assistance program, the Rotary club donated $2000 dollars to CYMA 2014. Der Hayr thanked the Rotary club for the support and expressed his gratitude, on behalf of the youth participants, assuring that this donation will encourage the youth to believe in the noble purpose of the humanitarian work.
