The conference of the clergy of the Canadian Diocese of the Armenian Church was held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Diocesan Center of the Armenian Church in Canada, presided by His Eminence Bishop Bagrat Galstanian, Primate.
The agenda items for the daylong meeting centered on issues relating to the mission of the Church and included an overview and discussion of the activities of the past year. The Primate offered the invocation and interpreted the message from the Letters of Paul (Timothy II: 3-5.) The clergy conference continued with specific discussions of the spiritual initiatives and activities of each parish with special attention towards the programs of Christian Education and Youth Ministry program.
Also, upon on the feast day of St. Leontius (St. Ghevont), Bishop Bagrat Galstanian spoke of the dedication and devotion of Levontian Fathers to their faith, elaborating on the inspiration of these saints, in the life of each Armenian clergy. The Primate conveyed his message of congratulations and recognition for the work of the Diocesan Clergy and wished them continued success in their mission.
