The Annual General Membership Assembly of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Cathedral of Montreal, held on Sunday, March 8, 2015, in the presence of 136 members.
The meeting was opened with prayer at 1:45 pm by his Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimian, Primate, Armenian Apostolic Church Canadian Diocese. The assembly officers unanimously were elected Mr. Jirayr Dolar, chairman and Mrs. Maral Boghossian, secretary.
During the meeting approved the previous assembly minutes, after which presented the reports of the Pastor, Parish Council, Diocesan Delegates, Sub-Committees, and Auditing Committee. The Financial Statement of the Parish council also has been introduced. Also, discussed and approved the budget of the year 2015. All the reports are evaluated and validated with highly appreciation.
The Electoral Committee approved the names of the candidates that will be elected only for the delegation, from whom elected Mrs. Zivart Takvorian and Dr. Harutyun Arzoumanian as delegates.
We cordially congratulate and appreciate all the committee members, as well as newly elected members, whishing them a successful year and prosperous future for our church.
The assembly closed with prayer at 5:00 pm by Bishop Abgar Hovakimian.
