On April 10-11, 2016, His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimian, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Canada paid a pastoral visit to Calgary, Alberta.
On April 10, Bishop Abgar celebrated Divine Liturgy with members of the Holy Almighty Armenian Parish of Calgary. Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Stephan Anglican Church which was packed with over 70 parishioners attending Liturgy and requiem services.
Following the services, Calgary Armenians gathered in the church hall where the Annual Parish Assembly took place under the presidency of the Primate.
