On December 15, 2018, representatives of the Armenian Community of the Greater Montreal Area gathered at the Diocesan Headquarters to attend in the Annual Christmas Reception offered by His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate.
His Grace opened the evening with a prayer and welcomed and thanked the guests for joining the evening. In his address, the Primate evaluated the outgoing year and expressed his appreciation towards all the volunteers, supporters, donors and the Armenian national organizations who have been diligently contributing to the prosperity and success of the Armenian Church and the Canadian Armenian community at large.
On this occasion, Bishop Hovakimyan presented the newly published Liturgical Book, which has been financed by the Demirjian family in memory of late Mrs. Sona Giragosyan Demirjian.
