On Sunday, April 7, 2013 the worldwide Armenian Church marked the feast of the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary.
At St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Cathedral of Montreal, Rev. Fr. Vazgen Boyajyan celebrated Holy Divine Liturgy and conveyed the message of the day. He was assisted by the deacons and acolytes of the church. The Komitas Choir led by Deacon Varuzhan Margaryan sang the Badarak. His Eminence Bishop Bagrat Galstanian, Primate presided over the Church service. Following the Badarak, the blessing of the parish council members was performed by the Primate of our Diocese.
We wish that the Virgin Mary always serves as a source of inspiration and example for our mothers, sisters and daughters so that they live their lives with gracious faith and devotion, and adorn their families and our spiritual and national life with the blessings of honest and kind deeds.
