On Saturday, November 9th, the Diocesan Council together with Archbishop Nathan hosted the 2013 Diocesan Mid-year Assembly at Queen’s University’s Donald Gordon Centre in the picturesque city of Kingston, Ontario.
This full day session drew more than 40 Delegates, Clergy and Parish Council Executive members from all 8 of our beloved Churches.
The agenda and open forum was a wonderful opportunity for all of our Church leaders to share their Parish’s strengths and successes, as well as participate in open dialogue regarding their challenges and the solutions they are working toward. Together, new priorities were identified, and the Diocesan Council welcomed the insightful and strategic input all participants offered.
This was a forward thinking leadership conference, transparent in its discussions, and a positive initiative for relationship building.
The 2014 Diocesan Assembly will be held on May 30th & 31st in Oakville, Ontario, and will be hosted by St. Vartan Church of Mississauga.
