On January 19, 2020, the annual Ecumenical Prayer for Christian Unity, organized by the Canadian Centre of Ecumenism, was held at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Cathedral of Montreal with participation of clergy and faithful of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Armenian Evangelical Church, Roman Catholic Church, Anglican Church, Baptist Church, Romanian Orthodox Church, Presbyterian Church, Jerusalem Brotherhood, United Church, Mouvement des Focolari, Full Gospel Baptist Church, US Orthodox Church, Lutheran Church.
On behalf of Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Canada, Rev. Fr. David Margaryan, Parish Priest of the Cathedral, welcomed all the participants of the ecumenical prayer.
