His Eminence Bishop Bagrat Galstanian, Primate of the Canadian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church offered his first Pastoral visit of 2012 to the Armenian Community of BC from Saturday February 18 to Thursday, February 23, 2012. During this period, Bishop Galstanian celebrated the anniversary of St. Vartan Armenian Apostolic Church of BC and presided over the Annual General Assembly on Sunday, February 19, 2012.

On Saturday, February 18 His Eminence was invited to attend the Armenian Cultural Association’s 43rd Anniversary Celebration as Guest of Honour.
On the First Sunday of Great Lent, February 19, His Eminence celebrated the Divine Liturgy and delivered his message on “What is the Great Lent”.
After the Church service, luncheon was served by the Ladies Guild at Setrak Kalpakian Hall where His Eminence cut St. Vartan Armenian Apostolic Church’s Anniversary Cake. On Monday, February 20, His Eminence had a meeting dinner with both the newly elected and previous executive members.

On Tuesday, February 21, 2012 Srpazan was invited to the Armenian Verity Radio where he had a live interview with Dr. Harout Tossonian. The Co-op Radio is sponsored by the Armenian Cultural Association of BC, which is aired every Tuesday both in Armenian and English languages, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Pacific time) on 102.7 FM.

On Wednesday, February 22 at 7:00 pm His Eminence presided at the Vesper (Peace and Rest) Prayer Service and delivered His message to the faithful. Primate Galstanian departed for Montreal on Thursday, February 23, 2012.
