On February 13, 2013 during his pastoral visit in Vancouver His Eminence Bagrat Galstanian met the Premier of British Columbia the Honorable Christy Clark. Srpazan conveyed the greetings of the Vancouver Armenian Community to the Premier and briefly discussed a wide range of issues related to Vancouver Armenians, the community at large and the Republic of Armenia. The Premier expressed her joy and thanked His Eminence for this wonderful opportunity.
Prior to the meeting with Premier Clark, our Primate was received by Honorable John Yap, the Minister of Advanced Education, Innovation and Technology and Minister Responsible for Multiculturalism and exchanged ideas on education and multiculturalism. Following the meeting, Minister John Yap acknowledged the presence and welcomed Primate Galstanian in Vancouver during the Question period of the Legislative Assembly.
