Every year CYMA mission travels to Armenia for a good cause. This year from July 8 through August 8 CYMA participants will be in Geghadir village to help our Motherland and make a lifetime relationship with fellow Armenians.
Saturday February 23, 2013 ACYM members gathered at St. Gregory Cathedral for CYMA preparation evening. 6000 envelops and flyers were prepared for mass mailing. This fundraising method is the only mean to collect donations for accomplishing CYMA 2013 mission. It also raises awareness among Canadian Armenians about CYMA´s continued mission that started in 1992 when our people were in desperate need after terrible earthquake.
This year CYMA will continue the school renovation project which was started in 2012. Renovation of the bathrooms and gym of the school are the main objective of CYMA 2013.
This mission will also offer the chance to young Canadians of Armenian origin to discover Armenia and Artsakh by visiting historical monuments, sacred sites.
We encourage the young Canadian Armenians to join CYMA and have life changing experience in Motherland Armenia.
