Under the auspices of His Eminence Bishop Bagrat Galstanian, on Saturday, April 6, 2013, Mississauga St. Vartan parish celebrated its annual SPRING FLING fundraising event organized by St. Vartan Camp and St. Vartan ACYOC committees. Over 160 parish members with their children celebrated the evening to support St. Vartan Armenian Church of Mississauga. The MCs of the evening were Dr. Cyril and Mrs. Noushig Tahtadjian. Silent Auction was organized by Mr. And Mrs. Loris and Julia Dumanian. The evening was successful with the supports of the sponsors: the Altounian, Sevadjian, Dumanian, Hamboyan, Ermarkarian, Kaprielian, Tahtadjian and Artinian families, and Alegro Vacuums Company. The opening remarks and prayers led by the parish priest Rev. Fr. Myron Sarkissian, and previous parish priest V. Rev. Fr. Hayrik Hovhannisyan. The chairman of the parish Mr. Vasken Altounian extended his gratitude to the organizers and supporters.
