Last week, His Eminence Archbishop Nathan received Canadian politicians at the Diocese.
On Tuesday, November 12, 2013 Mrs. Lysane Blanchette–Lamothe, Member of Parliament for Pierrefonds—Dollard and Official Opposition Critic for Citizenship and Immigration visited the Diocese. Discussions focused on the work of Hay Doun as well as the current situation of minorities in the Middle East. Present at the meeting were board members of HAY DOUN Family Support services.
The next day, Honorable Senator Pierre Claude Nolin, member of the National Security and Defense Committee, met Archbishop Nathan. 
His Excellency welcomed Archbishop Nathan in Canada and spoke about the work of the Senate. This meeting was an opportunity to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
