The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin announced that $100,000 in relief funds has been sent to the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Damascus. The money was collected by Armenian communities across the Diaspora and in Armenia, and will be used to support Armenian schools in Syria.
The Canadian Diocese’s fundraising campaign for Syrian-Armenian relief is still underway. Individuals can make checks out to the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Canada (please write “Syrian Relief” in the memo). All the proceeds collected will go to the relief effort, to be distributed through the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
