On Thursday, June 14 2012 a reception was held in support of Mr. Abel-Claude Arslanian, a well known member of the Montreal Armenian community. Mr. Arslanian, a Pharmacist by profession, is the provincial candidate for l’Acadie under the banner of Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) party.
His Eminence Bishop Bagrat Galstanian, Primate briefly attended this event and congratulated Mr. Abel-Claude Arslanian. Srpazan conveyed his well wishes for the success of Mr. Arslanian. Also, in attendance at this gathering was the leader of Coalition Avenir Québec party Mr. Francois Legault.
Claude Abel-Arslanian has practiced in his chosen profession, in his pharmacy located on the street corner of Henri-Bourassa and l’Acadie. He is recognized as a good listener, who is ready always to help and serve the people of his community. He was actively involved in the College of Pharmacists of Québec and the Quebec Order of Acupuncturists since also specializes in acupuncture. Father of an autistic child, he gave his time in various local school boards and parent groups to improve circumstances for disabled children.
