On April 15th, 2013 as the date of departure to Armenia approaches, CYMA is reaching out to spread the word about mission 2013. The team witnessed two successful screenings of the movie Garegin Nzhdeh, which helped to fund raise and to introduce the Canadian Youth Mission to Armenia to the audience made up mostly of Armenian youth.
The team from Montreal had the opportunity to move on from the big screen to radio broadcasting. Receiving an invitation from the hosts of Houysi Jampa, Mr. & Mrs. Khatcherian, the team was able to speak out to the Montreal Armenian community’s radio listeners. Deacon Ivan Gyadayan along with participants Hrayer Tanilian and Shant Khatcherian discussed their opinions live on radio about the mission of CYMA in Geghadir village and the plan to renovate its school.
