The Spanish operatic soprano Montserrat Caballé released a new album last month titled “Armenia and Artsakh: An Isle of Christianity.” The compilation was inspired by her visit to Armenia and Nagorno-Karabagh last summer.
His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; Archbishop Barkev Martirosyan, Primate of Artsakh; and Nagorno-Karabagh President Bako Sahakian traveled to Paris to honor Ms. Caballé on December 12. Among the guests at the gala evening were Charles Aznavour and Baroness Caroline Cox.
